  • Update on program information, including overview of pandemic adaptations (Eric Durant)

  • Student statistics (graduation)

    • Current program enrollment is 133 students. Spring enrollment had been stable at 149-156 for the last several years.
    • 10 CEs are pursuing double majors: 6 CS, 3 SE, 1 BE
    • Enrollment reports that the fall looks strong. As of April 1, CE/MSOE had 30/391 enrollment deposits compared with 22/350 at that time last year. Enrollment with EECS support held several April events to increase yield. As of May 13, CE/EECS/MSOE had 60/297/812 enrollment deposits.

    • Virtual Career Fair (3/15/2021)
    • Fall and Winter Commencement (3/20/2021). Graduates limited to 2 guests. Insufficient capacity for any program faculty to attend.
    • Czech Technical University exchange (Prague): Intro meeting for CE students (3/22/2021); spring semester exchange option for sophomores (+juniors this cycle due to pandemic delay): February-May, 2022. Three second year and three third year students plan to participate.
  • Upcoming
    • Spring Commencement (5/22/2021, EECS at 11:30, limited capacity, roughly 20 faculty, details pending)
    • Virtual Visits continue this summer. Targeting rising juniors. CE is hosting one on TBD at 1 PM.
    • Open Houses (none scheduled; expect return in fall, 2021)
