This massive structure houses the Town of Lake Water Tower in addition
to city offices. The unusual octagonal landmark is designed in
Art Deco style and when dedicated was described as a "Notable Landmark
in Modern Beauty and Engineering." The town of Lake is now part of the
city of Milwaukee.
