1#–1 1/2# ground beef
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
6 oz.–8 oz. Velveeta cheese
At room temp. combine all well; spread onto slices of small cocktail rye bread. About 1 1/3 heaping T. per slice. Be sure the slice of bread is covered with the mixture. These freeze great—wrap well.
350° oven (on cookie sheet) 12-18 min. Done when well browned!
