Each student must submit a resume as part of the team formation process.

Prepare a resume describing the following items:

The purpose of this resume is to permit your software engineering manager to put your talents to the best use, while arranging for assistance in areas that may require further development.

No specific format is required. However, your resume must be neat, clear, and complete. You should submit your resume to the professor by e-mail.

Team roles

There are a number of defined roles for each project team which is at least five in number. Each role will be assigned to one person for each development cycle. (Depending on team size, one or more roles may have an "assistant" or "backup" person.) The roles and corresponding responsibilities are:

Team leader Development manager Planning/process manager Quality/test manager Support manager
Maintain process and team discipline.

Track and report team progress.

Act as team meeting facilitator and timekeeper.

Lead requirements and development work.

Serve as CASE tool expert and resource.

Lead team planning and progress tracking.

Handle risk management and contingency planning.

Act as inspection and review moderator.

Track development problems and issues.

Prepare test plans and coordinate testing.

Serve as development environment expert and resource.

Handle configuration management and change control.

Maintain the project glossary.

Coordinate research activities.

In addition to the specific role responsibilities, all team members contribute to product development.

In situations where the team size is four, the tasks of the Support manager must be distributed among the other team members.
