    • Embedded Systems I-III: Students will use the Altera DE0-Nano laboratory board that they purchased in their 1st digital logic class freshman year, moving to ARM architecture (Dr. Rothe and others)
    • I (CE2801) introduces assembly and several subsystems
    • II (CE2812) moves to C and covers additional subsystems; introduces round-robin scheduling using the timer interrupt
    • III (CE2820) continues with the DE0-Nano (ARM core + FPGA); remains project-based course focused on interfacing peripherals
